Respite

Daytime Respite

Daytime respite is available Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5.30pm for those parents who wish to utilize the centre's services as a break from the constant care they must provide for their medically fragile child. Parents/caregivers often use this service so they can attend school, look after the needs of the rest of their family, or simply recharge their batteries while their medically fragile child is cared for in an inclusive and medically safe environment.

Extended Respite

Extended Respite is available on Fridays from 5.30pm - 5.00pm Saturday, and is offered exclusively to medically fragile children and their siblings. Extended Respite is filled with fun activities and outings for the kids, and provides parents/caregivers with a chance to recharge without worrying over the care of their medically fragile child. As with all of our unique programs, this service is staffed with Nurses, Developmental Workers, and ECEs.
